Joe McArthur is the Student Pastor at BAF. He has been in ministry since 1998, and has been on staff at BAF since 2004. Before becoming Student Pastor, Joe was the Worship/Media Director for Students. His number one goal is that students would have an encounter with God that changes the course of their lives. Joe is married to Melissa and they have over 500 beautiful children! In his free time Joe enjoys Jesus, his wife, reading and fishing for Redfish on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Don Fine has served as the Children’s Pastor at BAF for the last 2 years and has been in Ministry for over 15 years. He has an unbridled passion and enthusiasm for Children’s Ministry and it shows in everything he does. Don and his wife Daphne have 3 lovely children and he loves to spend his spare time playing sports, hunting, and watching anything involving the Oklahoma Sooners.

John Atkinson has overseen several ministries at BAF since 2002 but primarily works with small groups and multi-site. With an incredible testimony of God’s grace in his own life, John loves to see life change and has been instrumental in helping many people at BAF begin their walk with God. John is married to April and has three awesome sons; his interests include his family, UFC, football, hunting and fishing.

Bryan Fiscus is the Director of Television and Media at BAF, a department which he has helped create. An integral part of the BAF staff since 2003, Bryan has previously served as the College Pastor, Kingsville Campus Pastor, and Worship Pastor. Bryan is married to Leslie and they have two amazing children, Will and Elizabeth.  In addition to being a student of the spoken word, Bryan loves movies and NASCAR (seriously).

Mark Marquez is the Worship and Arts Pastor at BAF. Serving in various volunteer and staff positions since 2004, Mark is a recent and strong addition to the BAF Pastoral staff. His unparalleled passion and love for Jesus shows in every service as he leads BAF in worship. He is married to Lacie and has 2 beautiful children. His interests include art, music, motion graphics, sound recording, 3D animation, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Scott Downey is the Operations and Finance Pastor at BAF. He has attended BAF since 2002 and been on staff since 2007. Prior to coming on staff full time Scott served as an F/A-18 Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Navy and continues to serve as a Reserve flight instructor. He’s married to Amy and they have 4 wonderful kids. Scott’s hobbies include reading, playing guitar, and having an undervalued sense of humor.

Paul Schulz is the Executive Pastor at BAF and oversees the staff and ministries of the church. He has been a member of the church since 1999 and joined the staff full time in 2001. Paul is married to Terri and they have 3 beautiful children. His passions include ministry, playing drums, physical fitness, and UT sports.
