September 6…JudahFest
JudahFest is coming up on Saturday, September 6, with music by Wavorly and special guests Group 1 Crew and Whitewash and Ash. Admission is FREE. The concert begins at 6:00PM and will be held at Cole Park Amphitheater. For more information, visit www.myspace.com/judahfest

September 7…Imagine Fellowship Holds Grand Opening
Imagine Fellowship, Bay Area's church plant in San Antonio, is holding its Grand Opening on September 7th...If you know anyone in the surrounding area that you would like to attend service, please email Pastor Kevin at kevin@imaginefellowship.org. September 7 and 14…Hometeam Leader Meetings
BAF is holding Hometeam Leader meetings for current leaders and anyone who feels they might be interested in becoming a leader. The vision for the Hometeam ministry will be discussed, addressing challenges to Hometeam leaders, along with a Q & A to close. The meetings will be held during services in the “Kite” room in the Children’s area.

Times are as follows:
Sunday, September 7th - 10:00AM and 11:30AM
Sunday, September 14th - 1:00PM

Padre Island Campus’ Second Service a Success!
Bay Area Fellowship’s Padre Island campus added its second service last Sunday. And, for good reason…the first service was standing room only! With both services, attendance reached 159! BAF Pastor Brian Crown Needs Our Help…
Many of you know Pastor Brian Crown who has faithfully served as our Pastoral Care Pastor for many years. Brian has poured his life into so many people here and many lives have been changed because of it. Brian is suffering from ALS, or Lou Gherig’s Disease, and it has really taken a toll on his life. Bay Area Fellowship continues to pay his salary and cover all his medical expenses but the disease has placed a huge financial burden on his life. Last week, they put a feeding tube in Brian, and the expense to manage that system is becoming overwhelming. As the Body of Christ, it is our job to take care of those in need, and no one deserves the Body to come to his aid more than Brian. His heart for God, His people, and the Church, is truly special, and he has given 30 years of his life to serving them all.

We would like to ask BAF to step up and help Brian and his family financially. If you find yourself capable of helping this family, please send them a check at the address below. Please do not send a check to BAF; send them directly to Brian, so he can feel the love of God directly from the Body of Christ here at BAF. Brian is our family, so please pray and ask God what you might be able to do to help this amazing Pastor and his family.
